Chiho Makino

Trying to fight jet lag by staying up till at least 9 o'clock. My husband and son have failed miserably and are now snoozing together.
Everything is starting to look a bit fuzzy around the edges and I think I'm starting to dream... I have this same feeling when I look at paintings by Chiho Makino. Aren't they lovely?

I've mentioned before that I prefer traditional painting to digital. BUT. There's a few artists I adore who paint digitally and do so amazingly, beautifully. Have a look at my favorite illustrations by Pete Revonkorpi. They are like poetry in pictures, when I look at them, stories appear in my mind and I can even hear music.
